FreeRip è un'applicazione per Windows che vi aiuta a passare le tracce audio di un CD in Wav, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis or FLAC audio files (processo conosciuto come"ripping"). FreeRIP è pure una audio file converter ed è in grado di convertire audio files da un formato audio ad un altro.

Converting your CD audio collection to digital audio files is a breeze with FreeRIP. Download and install FreeRIP, put your audio CD into your computer's CD drive, run FreeRIP and click on the "Rip" button (detailed instructions).

Once you have your digital audio tracks in your preferred format, just move them onto an audio player (e.g. a portable MP3 player such as an Apple iPod™ or Creative Zen Player™), an advanced mobile phone, or burn them to a CD to listen in your car, stereo or Discman™. With FreeRIP you can save tracks as CD quality WAV files or encode them to a lossy (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA) or lossless (FLAC) audio format.



FreeRIP supports extended tagging and ID3 v2 standard, provide access to FreeRIP CD Database, an Open Source, collaborative CD information repository, and to well known freedb CD database. It also includes shortcuts to quicly find info about current CD or track (e.g. lyrics) on the web, an more.

Now includes optional My Search Bar , a web browser plug in toolbar to help you speeding up your searches on the web.

FreeRIP is distributed in two editions, Freeware and Standard. You can download, install and use FreeRIP Freeware edition for free, or buy Standard edition which includes advanced options and features (see details).
